Passion Céline Dion

Calling You
Length: 6:40
Language(s): English
Credits: Telson, Bob
A person having the blues calls for a loved one, from a remote location in the desert.
This song was first recorded by Jevetta Steel and Bob Telson (on separate tracks) on the Soundtrack of the Bagdad Café movie from 1988. One day Céline was told to listen to this song by a friend... and she just fell in love with it. Soon after, she included this song in her act and it was recorded during her performance at the Olympia.

Céline Dion à l'Olympia(C)

A desert road from Vegas to nowhere
Some place better than where you've been
A coffee machine that needs some fixing
In a little café just around the bend

I am calling you
Can't you hear me
I am calling you

A hot dry wind blows right thru me
The baby's crying and can't sleep
But we both know a change in coming
Coming close sweet release

I am calling you
I know you hear me
I am calling you Oh
